Audio for Video: More power to "the heartbeat of film making"

Producing video pictures in brilliant quality has never been easier. You can do it with regular video cameras as well as with DSLR cameras. What most optically convincing videos lack, however, is a high-quality audio signal to match. That’s a pity, because it is the sound that really gives a movie the power to move and evoke emotions. Not without reason Belgian film-maker Geert Verdickt calls sound “the heartbeat of film making".
