Apple just made a move that could change the future of Final Cut Pro… and it might not be great news for DaVinci Resolve users. Apple has acquired MotionVFX, the plugin company behind some of the best titles, transitions, effects, and tools available for Final Cut Pro. If you’ve been editing in FCP for a while, you probably know how big of a deal that is. MotionVFX plugins have filled a pretty big gap in Final Cut Pro for years when it comes to modern graphics, tracking tools, and overall flexibility.
