Woensdag 11 maart 2026 om 20 u in het Auditorium van Het Bolwerk, Bolwerkstraat 17 te Vilvoorde, is er FILMVERGADERING.

Deze avond ontvangen we onze filmvrienden van de Boomse filmclub BOCAM. BOCAM werd gesticht in 1962 en behoort daarmee tot de oudste amateurfilmclubs van Vlaanderen.

Ze brengen ons volgend filmprogramma:

Woensdag 18 maart 2026 om 20 u is er FILMVERGADERING met laureaatfilms van UNICA 2025, het internationaal filmfestival van amateurcineasten uit een 30-tal landen:

• “Lights”, een animatiefilm (8'25”) van Jitka Nemikinsová uit Tsjechië. De gloeilampen geven een feest om de groeiende vlammen te verwelkomen in het systeem dat hen zal laten stralen en beschermen. Maar één van de vlammen speelt graag met vuur en komt in opstand tegen het systeem.
• “Tour Guide”, een speelfilm (14'50”) van Katarzyna Bojkowska uit Polen. Op haar eerste reis gaat Klara, een beginnende reisleidster op pad met een groep blinde tieners. Ze wordt er geconfronteerd met haar angsten, onhandelbare kinderen en het onwillige reispersoneel. Tijdens een tussenstop wordt ze aangesproken door de vluchteling Nadim.
• “I hate sundays”, een experimentele film (5'01”) van Katarína Čmaradová uit Slowakije. Haar moeder bekijkt haar altijd met een afkeurende blik. Kinderen kiezen hun godsdienst niet, die wordt hen opgedrongen als een uniform waarvan ze zich niet kunnen ontdoen. De film focust op wat de auteur in haar dagboek optekent over de strijd met haar geloof en haar angsten.
• “Nothing”, een experimentele film (19'01”) van Zsanett Urbán uit Hongarije. Twee adolescenten uit het platteland beslissen om de slaapzaal van hun school te ontvluchten om naar Pest te gaan. Sara en Circus, zoals alle adolescenten, maken zich op om hun leven te veranderen. Ze hebben geen geld, geen auto, geen doel, maar niets kan hen tegenhouden. 
• “The Lawyer”, een één-minuutfilm (59”) uit Frankrijk.

Why Hollywood Movies Look So Good PART 2

 Cinematic looking movies, video and films is not about the Camera and Lens. As discussed in the last video, cinema cameras should not be the first and most important thing in filmmaking and good cinematographers know this. Good photography and video lighting is not just from using a softbox. In this video, we cover more about cinematic lighting and soft shadows. The big movie-look Youtubers want has nothing to do with anamorphic lenses, shooting RAW at 120fps at f1.2 or f1.4 with blurry backgrounds or bokeh or gimbal stabilization or color grading with high dynamic range. Without good lighting, the camera and lens are worthless. What makes things look cinematic is what goes IN FRONT of the camera and a big part of that is the Lighting, and it has nothing to do with RGB lights. This video is about what goes in front of the lights- namely diffusion choices used by big movie gaffers, key grips, DP and lighting departments. Good photography and video is SO much more than just using a softbox. And yes, I have a nicer mannequin head today lol.

• “Púbol” (5'15”) van Denise Van Slagmolen. Púbol is een prachtig klein dorpje aan de Costa Brava en dankt zijn naamsbekendheid vooral aan het feit dat Salvador Dalí er voor zijn muze 'Gala' een kasteel heeft gekocht.
• “33 jaar Snot-e-bellen” (2'21”) een reportage van Claude Decroisson. Carnavalist Hans van de Vilvoordse carnavalsgroep 'De Snot-e-bellen' heeft een nieuw liedje gemaakt ter ere van het 33-jarig bestaan van de groep. Claude maakte een leuke video van het optreden waar het lied in première werd gebracht voor de leden van de carnavalsgroep.

• ”Anuja”, een speelfilm (22'21”) gebaseerd op ware gebeurtenissen van een Indisch meisje. Anuja is een getalenteerd negenjarig meisje, dat samen met haar zus voor een hongerloon werkt in eenkledingfabriekje.
• ”Het Nieuwe Rijk”, een documentaire (18'06”) van Johan Leemans gefilmd in 2011 in Egypte. De tempels in en rond Luxor werden bezocht op een ogenblik dat er weinig toeristen waren in Egypte. Bovendien beschikte Johan over een persoonlijke Egyptische gids waardoor ook tempels werden bezocht die minder bekend zijn bij het grote publiek.
• ”Bron van alle leven”, een documentaire (11'43”) van Johan Leemans gefilmd in 2011 in Egypte. In tegenstelling tot de vorige film zien we geen enkele tempel maar wel het leven van de Egyptenaren dat zelden door toeristen wordt gefilmd.

A.I. Voice-Over in Narakeet

Een geschikte site voor AI Voice-Over is Narakeet.

Deze is moeite waard om eens te bezoeken. (er zijn er meerdere van deze sites maar dikwijls moet men een abonnement nemen)

 

 

Bij Narakeet heeft men de keuze tussen meer dan honderd verschillende stemmen, mannelijk, vrouwelijk, kinderstemmen e.d.

Keuze ook uit veel talen, zelfs streekgebonden. Bv. Nederlands-Nederland of Vlaams (aantal stemmen wel beperkt)

Er kan ook een keuze gemaakt worden tussen Polyglot-stemmen. Behoorlijk Vlaams met een zeer licht Nederlands accent.

Er zijn niet zoveel mogelijkheden beschikbaar om de stem te beïnvloeden. Intonatie of gevoeligheid kunnen niet aangepast worden. Enkel het volume en de snelheid kunnen gewijzigd worden. Er is ook een keuzemogelijkheid om de uitvoer te bepalen (mp3 , Wav, e.d)

Om te beginnen kunnen er 17 takes gratis gemaakt worden en gedownload.(De lengte per take is denkelijk beperkt maar ik heb toch een tekst van meer dan 15 lijnen kunnen laten inspreken)

Om meer of langere teksten te laten inspreken heb ik éénmalig 6 euro betaald om 25.000 karakters (+/- 30 min tekst) te laten inspreken. Dus zeker niet te duur.
