How to EASY expose S-LOG3 correctly - with Zebras!

This is a step by step tutorial and master class where I share how to correctly expose S-LOG3 on your Sony A7SIII, FX3 and other Sony cameras. I sometimes call it the S-Log 3 exposure super hack! To be able to use this s-log3 exposure hack you just need to know the tools your camera offers you. It's actually super easy to expose S-LOG3 if you know what exposure tools to use, and how to use them. Sony a7siii slog3 is one of the most commonly used setups. But many are struggling with the exposure. I will use my Sony A7SIII for this S-log 3 exposure tutorial. In this S-LOG 3 exposure video I will go through how to use the Exposure Meter, the Camera monitor, Gamma Assist, and Zebras. When using the Zebras for nailing the exposure for S-LOG3, we use C1 and C2 settings. Avoid future Slog3 overexposure and underexposure.

Beste Clubleden,

De jaarwisseling is een ideaal moment om even stil te staan bij al wat het voorbije jaar ons heeft gebracht, goede dingen maar waarschijnlijk ook minder mooie momenten.

Dat zoiets vooral met nieuwjaar gebeurt is een gevolg van de natuurlijke omstandigheden. De donkerste periode van het jaar willen we oplichten met kaarsen en lichtjes en maken we het binnen warm en gezellig om de koude te vergeten. Wij, amateurcineasten, maken van die “winterslaap” gebruik om onze opgenomen filmbeelden te ordenen en van inhoud te voorzien, zodat een nieuwe film ontstaat waarmee we onze clubleden, familie en vrienden aangenaam kunnen verrassen.

In clubverband doen we dat intussen al 47 jaar!

Ik wens iedereen een goede gezondheid, voorspoed, geluk en, als het even kan, een mooie filmproductie!

• ”Woody & Lina”, een film (8'40”) gemonteerd door Fred Lamon. 2 meisjes zijn reeds vriendinnen van in de lagere school. Ze delen gezamenlijke passies maar volgen toch ieder hun eigen weg. Sommige delen van de klankband bestaan uit meer dan 10 geluidssporen.
• "Boeddhadag in Wat Pa Phu", een reportage (10'55”) van Fred Lamon. Viermaal per maand is er een gebedsdag in de tempel. De mensen brengen dan voedsel mee om te offeren aan de monniken en dat wordt ook verdeeld onder de aanwezigen. In een interview legt een monnik de betekenis uit van Boeddhadag.
• ”Anuja”, een speelfilm (22'21”) gebaseerd op ware gebeurtenissen van een Indisch meisje.
• ”Het Nieuwe Rijk”, een documentaire (18'06”) van Johan Leemans gefilmd in 2011 in Egypte.

By popular demand here is my guide to using zebras with the different Sony picture profiles. I cover all the cine gammas, S-Cinetone, S-LOG 2 and 3 as well as the HLG gammas.
