Woensdag 8 oktober 2025 om 20 u in het Auditorium van Het Bolwerk is er FILMVERGADERING:

• ”De ongewenste gast”, de nieuwste speelfilm (9 minuten) van Hedwig D'Huyvetter. Zoals gewoonlijk werd weinig of niets aan het toeval overgelaten. Aan het verhaal werd gesleuteld met artificiële intelligentie. Hedwig zocht de meest geschikte acteurs en actrice in de toneelkringen waarvoor hij geregeld filmt. Alles werd grondig ingeoefend en de dialogen en acties werden meermaals bijgewerkt. Aan de filmopnamen werkten Johan Leemans mee als cameraman en Fred Lamon verzorgde de geluidsopname en maakte de dronebeelden.
• “Confusion”, een speelfilm (32 minuten) uit 2018 van Hedwig D'Huyvetter. Verschillende van onze trouwe clubleden hebben deze film nog niet gezien omdat ze na 2018 lid werden van onze vereniging. “Confusion” is de langste speelfilm die Hedwig ooit heeft gemaakt. Er werd op heel wat locaties gefilmd en er was zelfs medewerking van de politie.

Iedereen kent Erik Van Looy als presentator van programma's zoals “De Slimste Mens ter Wereld” maar omdat Erik ook een gedreven filmregisseur is van films zoals “Ad Fundum”, “De zaak Alzheimer”, “Loft”, “De Premier”, enz, bekijken we 2 originele filmpjes die gemaakt werden om publiciteit te maken voor de nieuwe reeks van “De Slimste Mens ter Wereld” en waarin Erik uiteraard de hoofdrol speelt.

Woensdag 15 oktober 2025 om 20 u in het Auditorium van Het Bolwerk is er FILMVERGADERING met internationaal bekroonde films van de UNICA, de “UNion International du CinémA”.

Het eerste UNICA-filmfestival had plaats in 1931 in Brussel. Toen deden slechts 5 landen mee: België, Nederland, Frankrijk, Oostenrijk en  Engeland. Ooit waren er 33 landen die deel uitmaakten van UNICA maar ook daar begint de interesse voor amateurfilms af te nemen. Momenteel zijn er 25 landen aangesloten bij de UNICA, uitsluitend Europese landen met uitzondering van Korea.

Jaarlijks organiseren ze het internationaal filmfestival voor amateurs en leerlingen aan filmscholen dat telkens in een ander land plaats heeft. In 2025 was dat in Birmingham (Verenigd Koninkrijk) en in 2026 in Lugano (Zwitserland).

We bekijken volgende films;

• “Sigma”, een film (14'14”) van Aram Manukyan en David Jinanyan uit Armenië. Dat is een film van cineasten onder de 25 jaar. Ze behaalden zilver.
• “Iris”, een film (9'31”) van Michael J. Keplinger uit Oostenrijk. Ook dit is een film van een jonge filmmaker en behaalde eveneens zilver.
• “Forbidden”, een film (13'37”) van Charlotte Vacková  uit Tsjechië. Deze film ontving de prijs voor beste montage.
• “Gratismut”, een film (14'52”) van Marcus Siebler uit Duitsland. Deze ontving de prijs als beste film van deelnemers boven de 25 jaar.
• “Cafunè”, een film (8'07”) van Carlos F. De Vigo en Lorena Ares uit Spanje.
• “Lone Woman”, een film (15') van Lorenzo Cassol uit Italië. Deze film behaalde zilver in de reeks films gemaakt door leerlingen uit filmscholen.
