Bij ons bezoek aan de tempels van Angkor in Cambodja, heeft Chris schetsen gemaakt in een klein schetsboekje.

De beelden van deze schetsen zijn dan gemengd met de beelden van de tempels.

Daarbij werd gebruik gemaakt van "greenkey". Nieuwe video-opnames werden boven op bestaande beelden gezet.

Ook al worden we allemaal stilletjesaan wat ouder, toch blijft ons ledenaantal al vele jaren stabiel en telt onze club nog steeds een twintigtal cineasten, waarvan 3 tachtigers en 1 negentiger. De gemiddelde ouderdom ligt rond de 68 jaar .

Op filmgebied is er wel een verschuiving aan de gang. Het maken van speelfilms wordt steeds zeldzamer. Reportages daarentegen zitten in de lift en ik denk dat er weinig clubs zijn waar zoveel gefilmd wordt, want bijna wekelijks zijn onze cineasten ergens actief aan het filmen, meestal met verschillende clubleden en veel camera's, zowel bemand als onbemand.

Bij Videoclub Vilvoorde is er interesse en respect voor gelijk welke filmproductie en kan je steeds rekenen op de hulp en opbouwende kritiek van de clubleden.

Ik hoop dat wij allen nog vele jaren van elkaars filmproducties mogen blijven genieten en dat in de vriendschappelijke en gemoedelijke sfeer die eigen is aan onze vereniging.

Ik wens u veel geluk, voorspoed en vooral een stevige gezondheid voor uzelf en voor al die u dierbaar zijn!

Woensdag 8 januari 2025 om 20 u is er FILMVERGADERING VRIJ PODIUM met alvast volgende films:

• ”Living on a dream”, een documentaire (26') van Johan Leemans uit 1998. In deze film maken we een rondreis door Rajasthan. Het is één van de mooiste regio's van India met een interessante cultuur. Rajasthan heeft een boeiende geschiedenis, een prachtig landschap, kleurrijke paleizen en betoverende forten. Verder maken we kennis met verschillende godsdiensten en de bijhorende tempels. 
• ”Guuks kort”, een reportage (24'55”) van een humoristische avond met sketches en Vlaamse hits in het dialect van Gooik. De camera's werden bediend door Roger Deprouw, Johan Leemans en Bart Gerber die tevens instond voor de geluidsopname.

Woensdag 15 januari 2025 om 20 u in het Auditorium van Het Bolwerk is er FILMVERGADERING met op het programma FILMTRUCAGES.

• ”Tempels in potlood”, een reportage van Fred Lamon waarbij op bestaande beelden een persoon wordt toegevoegd. Bij de opname gebeurt dit met 'greenkey' maar nieuwe programma's laten dat nu ook toe op reeds bestaande filmbeelden.
• “Imagine”, gezongen door de wereldleiders.
• “Busongeval” en de making of
• “Zot van Muziek - James Bond”
• “Bridge Collapse”
