Crop Factor TRUTH: Do you need Full Frame?

The same lens produces different results on cameras with different sized sensors. As a result, it can be tough to cross-shop Micro Four-Thirds, APS-C, Full Frame, and Medium Format cameras. Crop Factor is a conversion that makes it simple to determine the exact results you'll get with any given lens, regardless of your camera's sensor size. By multiplying your camera's crop factor by a lens' focal length AND aperture, you can determine the full frame equivalent angle of view, depth-of-field (background blur) and a good estimate of the low-light noise.

Programma van de maand…

Woensdag 13 maart 2019 om 20 uur in het Cultureel Centrum “Het Bolwerk” aan de Bolwerkstraat 17 te Vilvoorde is er FILMVERGADERING.
Op het programma staat:

• “Waar is mijn kasteel naartoe?” (33') van Piet Vandenpoel. Omdat Piet recent beslist heeft met deze film deel te nemen aan de Bracinawedstrijd, dient deze film gejureerd te worden.
• “Le petit monde du corail” (18') van Raja Ampat.  Deze prachtige film over de onderwaterwereld werd bekroond in Frankrijk.
• “Een kunstenaar van het volk”, een gespeelde documentaire (30') van Hubert De Wulf over de Antwerpse kunstenaar Eugeen Van Mieghem die leefde in het begin van vorige eeuw. Tientallen figuranten dienden te worden gekleed in de stijl van begin 1900.

Woensdag 20 maart 2019 om 20 uur in het Cultureel Centrum “Het Bolwerk” aan de Bolwerkstraat 17 te Vilvoorde is er FILMVERGADERING.
Deze avond bekijken we hoe professionelen te werk gaan om de juiste belichting te bekomen voor een scene. Het is onvoorstelbaar hoe inventief men soms moet zijn om bepaalde belichtingsproblemen op te lossen. Dit doen we aan de hand van de film “Death Poets Society” met Robin Williams in de hoofdrol.

Nadien overlopen we een aantal punten die besproken werden op de onlangs door Bracina georganiseerde cursus “Découpage fictiefilm & non-fictie”.

Op vraag van een aantal van onze leden zullen vanaf deze maand ook films van vroeger worden getoond. Dit in het kader van ons 40-jarig bestaan en tevens om onze nieuwe leden kennis te laten maken met al dan niet bekroonde filmproducties uit het verleden.
Hierbij worden onze leden uitgenodigd een film van vroeger mee te brengen voor projectie.

Op het programma staat alvast:

• “Clubclip”, een reclamefilmpje (1'33”) dat destijds gemaakt werd om de toeschouwer te overtuigen dat men beter leert filmen in clubverband dan alleen. Het is opvallend hoeveel van die acterende leden inmiddels overleden zijn.

Filmfestival 2019

Zaterdag 23 maart 2019 van 19u tot 23u in het Auditorium op de 1ste verdieping van het Cultureel Centrum “Het Bolwerk” aan de Bolwerkstraat 17 te Vilvoorde.

De voorbije 39 jaren projecteerden we in totaal:

• bijna 600 kortfilms
• goed voor meer dan 100 uren film.

De 20 cineasten van Videoclub Vilvoorde zijn heel actief! Uit een 70-tal nieuwe films werden er 18 geselecteerd voor ons festival, waaronder 4 nieuwe speelfilms, documentaires, reportages en computeranimaties.

Nodig familie, vrienden en kennissen uit want  Videoclub Vilvoorde staat al jaren garant voor kwaliteit en een aangename en ontspannende filmavond.

Bovendien is alles gratis want we vragen geen inkom en zelfs het programmablad is gratis.

Zolang de voorraad strekt zal bovendien een nuttige attentie worden aangeboden aan de aanwezigen.
