How to Change Color of an Object in Video in Final Cut Pro

Use the Hue/Saturation curves to isolate and change colors in Final Cut Pro, NO PLUGINS Requited. In this tutorial we’ll use Final Cut Pro’s built in color correction tools to do secondary color correction in our video. We’ll use the Hue vs Saturation Curves to apply the Sin City Effect, where you choose a selected color and leave it saturated, and desaturate all other colors. This gives you a black and white clip, with just a selected color on your subject in color. We’ll also use the Hue vs Hue curve to replace and change a selected color, in our example, changing a red car to green. Before the switch from one color to another, you will learn to add a simple glitch effect, to make the transition between colors more dynamic. Enjoy, and see what cool effect you can come up with!

De site is wel autovrij en dus best te bezoeken met de fiets.

Sukhothai is Sanskriet voor "Dageraad van geluk”.

Waar?  In het Auditorium op de 1ste verdieping van het Cultureel Centrum “Het Bolwerk” aan de Bolwerkstraat 17 te Vilvoorde.
Het einde is voorzien omstreeks 23.00 uur.

De voorbije 40 jaren projecteerden we in totaal:
609 kortfilms
goed voor 105 uren film.

Zoals steeds hebben we een goed uitgebalanceerd programma met speelfilm, documentaire, reportage, sfeerfilm en computeranimatie.

Nodig familie, vrienden en kennissen uit want  Videoclub Vilvoorde staat al jaren garant voor kwaliteit en een aangename en ontspannende filmavond.

De inkom is volledig gratis en zelfs het programmablad.
Voor zover de voorraad strekt ontvangen alle aanwezigen bovendien een nuttig geschenk.

Programma van de maand…

Woensdag 11 maart 2020 om 20 uur in het Cultureel Centrum “Het Bolwerk” aan de Bolwerkstraat 17 te Vilvoorde is er FILMVERGADERING met:

• “Bevrijdingstocht 1918-2018”, een reportage (17') van Johan Leemans. Gedurende een week trok een karavaan van 130 soldaten en 50 paarden van Lo-Reninge naar Deinze om de bevrijding in 1918 na Wereldoorlog I te herdenken.
• “Zombies!”, een speelfilm (14 minuten) van Chloé Decroisson. Tijdens de herfstvakantie heeft Chloé meegedaan aan een videokamp, waar de kinderen zelf een scenario moesten schrijven, uitwerken, acteren en monteren. De opnamen werden gemaakt met een iPad.
• “Earth 2520”, de nieuwste computeranimatie (7 minuten) van Gaston Slaets. In 1969 had de groep 'Zager and Evans' een hit met 'In the year 2525' waarin ze zich afvroegen of de mens dan nog zou leven. Gaston toont ons een toekomstbeeld na onbeperkte toename van de wereldbevolking.

Woensdag 18 maart 2020 om 20 uur in het Cultureel Centrum “Het Bolwerk” aan de Bolwerkstraat 17 te Vilvoorde is er FILMVERGADERING en FILMCURSUS.
Volgende films staan op het programma:

• “Road Trip West USA”, een reportage (25') van Paul Verhack. Paul voert ons mee naar de mooiste natuurparken van de Verenigde Staten van Amerika.
• “Tervuren en de Groote Oorlog”, een documentaire (1u06) van Piet Vandenpoel. We bekijken de laatste 25 minuten die in februari wegens tijdsgebrek niet konden getoond worden.

Daarna vervolgen we de filmcursus over montage.

Zondag 22 maart 2020 heeft de provinciale filmwedstrijd van Bracina plaats in kasteel “La Motte” te Sint-Ulriks-Kapelle.
De film “Wroeging” van Roger Olivy is de enige inzending van Videoclub Vilvoorde.
Na de projectie van de laatste film volgt de prijsuitreiking en receptie.

Davinci Resolve 16 - Beginner to Hero Tutorial

As a filmmaker when I discovered DaVinci early on in my career I knew that it would give me a tremendous advantage over others in improving the look of my films. I had done everything I felt like I could do in terms of lighting, lenses and other camera grip gear. But then something happened in 2010 that completed changed everything in the industry. I began using DaVinci Resolve when the first version came to the Mac starting with version 8. It has been a wild ride ever since granting me opportunities that I would not have had if I hadn't chosen such a professional tool with high-end color tools! I didn't shy away from it and as a result I got to work on big projects for Facebook and Instagram as well as color grading different feature films using it. If you are at that point where you are considering jumping over to DaVinci Resolve 16 with the intent in mind of improving the look of your films and having a skill set that sets you apart you have found the right place. In this beginner to hero tutorial I hope that you find it as an easy entrance into using the software and not becoming intimidated. We don't want that for you!
